Beat Maker Software - Make Your Own Beats

So you want to make a hip hop or rap beat for your music? Beginner producers can be overwhelmed with everything involved in making beats. Where do you begin? Do you go all out and purchase a beat making studio which can easily run over ten thousand? You got synthesizers, turntables, samplers, sequencers, drum machines, etc...
A viable alternative to this is to go out and purchase a beat maker or a digital audio workstation DAW. There is lots of beat making software out there to create those killer beats you are looking for. The can range in price as well, so I highly recommend you find an entry-level beat machine if you are just starting out your career as a producer.
First you probably want to determine what style or genre of beat you want to create. Are you going for hip hop, R&B, dirty south, or how about a club banga? Some other styles are east coast, funk, mid west, gangsta, etc... By selecting your genre first you will be able to set the tempo and get the feel.
When making your own beats, you first want to start out with a nice drum beat. Snares, kicks, or just a solid drum beat needs to be the backbone of your music that you are about to compose. Everything else will build on this, so get this sound right.
After you got a solid drum, you need to begin to experiment with some nice instrumentals or loops to fill out your beat. You can utilize the synthesizer here or go straight instrumentals. Different sounds and instruments will convey different feelings and emotions. This takes practice, experimentation, and time to master this. Don't think you cna bang out a beat in a few minutes. Play around and see what works and what doesn't.
This is also the time where you can begin to mess around with sampling. Sampling is just the idea of taking parts of songs or other music and mixing it around into cool patterns or loops. This type of mixing become extremely popular in the early 2000's with producers such as Kayne West and Jay-Z. However, the one caveat here is to be careful with any copyright infringement. THis also caused another shift back to straight instrumentals now being used more than ever to avoid this problem.
Finally you want to add the basslines and effects. This will give it some nice flavor and really distinguish your beats from the the rest of the crowd. If you are really looking to discover how to produce those pulse-pounding sounds check out the site below ...
One final key to remember is this: try to be original. It is easy to pick up sounds from other producers and mimic their beats, tempo, instruments etc... But if you really want to make it as a trackmaster, try to think outside the box and create something original. Start your own genre or style and that is a sure way to get noticed as opposed to following someone else's sounds trying to be different. Develop your own signature in every beat & hip hop instrumental you create. This is probably the best piece of beat making advice that can be given if you want to make your own beats.
